The 64Studios Standard

Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

64Studios is committed to delivering exceptional visual content with professionalism, integrity and respect. Every member representing the 64Studios brand is expected to uphold these principles on every production.

Professional Standards

All members shall:

Safety

Safety always takes priority over production.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a fundamental principle of 64Studios and one of our highest professional priorities. Our clients trust us with sensitive information, creative concepts and exclusive access, and every member has a responsibility to protect that trust. Scripts, production plans, budgets, client information, locations, schedules, footage, photographs, behind the scenes material, business discussions and any other confidential information obtained during the course of a project must be treated as strictly confidential. Such information shall not be disclosed, copied, distributed, published or discussed with any unauthorised person without the client's prior written permission. This obligation applies during and after the completion of a project and remains in force unless the information has lawfully entered the public domain or the client has expressly authorised its release. Members are expected to exercise discretion at all times and take appropriate measures to safeguard confidential information, both in person and through digital communications.

Equipment

All equipment must be maintained in good working order, handled responsibly and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance and all applicable safety requirements. Members are expected to ensure that the equipment they own or use is suitable for the intended production, properly maintained, regularly inspected where appropriate and transported securely. Care must be taken to protect equipment from damage, loss, theft and misuse, and to minimise the risk of injury to people or damage to property during its operation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, members remain responsible for the equipment they own, hire or operate, including its maintenance, insurance and safe use.

Legal Compliance

Every member is responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, licences, insurance requirements and professional obligations relevant to their work. This includes maintaining any qualifications, certifications or authorisations required to perform their role, and ensuring these remain valid throughout their engagement with 64Studios. Members are expected to conduct themselves lawfully, respect the rights of others and operate in accordance with all relevant industry standards, location requirements and health and safety legislation. No individual shall knowingly undertake work or operate equipment for which they are not appropriately qualified, licensed or insured.

Respect & Inclusion

64Studios is committed to maintaining a professional, safe and inclusive working environment in which every individual is treated with dignity, courtesy and respect. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, victimisation or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated, whether directed towards colleagues, clients, contractors, members of the public or anyone encountered during a production. Members are expected to communicate professionally, respect different backgrounds, perspectives and cultures, and contribute to a positive working environment where collaboration, trust and mutual respect are fundamental. Every individual representing the 64Studios brand has a responsibility to uphold these standards without exception.

Integrity

Integrity is fundamental to the reputation of 64Studios. Every member is expected to act honestly, ethically and with complete transparency in all professional dealings. Members shall never intentionally misrepresent their qualifications, certifications, experience, portfolio, previous work or professional affiliations. Work should only be accepted where the individual possesses the appropriate knowledge, skills and competence to deliver it safely and professionally. Any actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest that may affect impartiality, client confidence or the reputation of 64Studios must be disclosed without delay to the relevant client and, where appropriate, to 64Studios management.

Environmental Responsibility

Members are expected to minimise waste, reduce unnecessary travel where practical and respect the natural environment at all times. Wildlife, natural habitats and public spaces must never be disturbed, damaged or compromised for the purpose of obtaining footage. Every production should be carried out with the utmost respect for the environment and the communities in which we work.

Independent Professionals

64Studios operates as a collaborative production brand, bringing together experienced independent professionals to deliver high-quality visual content. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, members are engaged as independent sole traders or contractors and are not employees, partners or legal representatives of 64Studios. Each member remains fully responsible for their own legal, tax, insurance, licensing and regulatory obligations, as well as the maintenance of any qualifications, certifications and equipment required to perform their role. While working under the 64Studios brand, members are expected to uphold the company's professional standards, values and Code of Conduct, contributing to a consistent level of quality, integrity and professionalism across every production.

Breach of this Code

Failure to uphold these standards may result in suspension or removal from participation in projects conducted under the 64Studios brand. Anyone wishing to report concerns regarding the conduct, behaviour or professionalism of a member representing 64Studios may do so by emailing lova.bjork@64studios.uk. All reports will be treated confidentially, reviewed impartially and investigated where appropriate.
